of Duyun was approved as a provincial on by
the People¡¯s Government of Guizhou Province.
The planned area of the zone is 80.5 km2 including
7.5 km2 as the first-stage area. There are
265 project in the zone with 2.85 billion
yuan of contracted investment and 860 million
yuan of actually available capital.
Transportation
he zone is located in the north part of Duyun,
close to the old city. Its geographical position
is ideal and transportation is convenient.
For example, Guiyang-Liuzhou rail line, national
highways of 320 and 321, Chongqing-Beihai
high-grade highway, provincial highways of
Danzhai-Guili and Duyun-Huishui all pass through
the zone. The diotance between the zone and
Guiyang international airport is 130 km. The
zone is on the way leading provinces of Yunnan,
Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing to eastern
coastal regions.

and Telecom
ith an investment of 250
million yuan for a total capacity of 200000
lines, the civil engineering for the telecom
center of the zone has been completed. 30000
lines of program-controlled telephone put
into operation in May 2001.
Supply
of Water and Electricity

Capacity of electricity supply is 110 KVA
for the Longshan subtransformer station in
the zone. The daily capacity of water supply
is 100000 m3 for the water plant in the zone.
